rent

Most of the properties we have on our books will be let on Assured Shorthold Tenancies, also known as ASTs. These are generally tenancies for the term of a year and are renewable. The minimum term is 6 months. However, all prices quoted will be as a price in pounds sterling per week, irrespective of the term of the let. Payment is usually monthly, in advance.

As well as paying rent you may also be required to pay the following permitted payments

Holding Deposit (per tenancy) One week’s rent. This is to reserve a property. Please Note: This will be withheld if any relevant person (including any guarantor(s)) withdraw from the tenancy, fail a Right-to-Rent check, provide materially significant false or misleading information, or fail to sign their tenancy agreement (and / or Deed of Guarantee) within 15 calendar days (or other Deadline for Agreement as mutually agreed in writing).

Security Deposit (per tenancy) Five weeks’ rent. This covers damages or defaults on the part of the tenant during the tenancy.

During the tenancy (payable to the provider) if permitted and applicable to the property and unless stated otherwise in the property description:
Utilities – gas, electricity, water
