DSRMS are primarily concerned with block management, the management of residential buildings that are divided into flats. Generally acting on behalf of Freeholders, we will manage building repairs, collect service charges and ground rents, resolve disputes and, more usually, attend to building emergencies.
DSRMS are members of ARMA, the Association of Residential Managing Agents and the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). Both professional bodies audit our firm and ensure that we act to a professional standard at all times. Furthermore we are certificated under ISO 9001:2008, this is an annual quality assessment that ensures a constant and excellent standard of work.
As managing agents our duties are varied and no day is the same. Today we could be dealing with a lift that isn’t working or a light bulb that is out in the common parts, but tomorrow it could be a leak which has gone through 3 flats or a front door lock that requires changing and keys to be distributed to various flats. All in all property management encompasses a degree of psychology and varying duties which we fulfill to the best of our abilities and always with a smile.
